He's been a friend of the kurdish people and during the last fifteen years of his life he was very intrested about the kurdish question and has writtten three books about Kurdistan.
The title of his books about Kurdistan were:
1. Ararat is lightening (1994)
2. Allah Akbar! (1998)
3. The unsleeping blood of the Deaths (1999)
